Project Summary

Environmental and sustainability support for CTIHC restructuring of 21 companies into 10 new textile subsidiaries, financed by international agencies.

Objective

Support CTIHC restructuring with environmental and social requirements per IFC Performance Standards and local regulations for financing approval.

Scope of Work

Prepare inception phase report
Conduct environmental and social assessment of ten targeted companies per IFC Performance Standards
Develop and implement Environmental and Social Commitment Plans for each company
Review national and international HSE guidelines for the textile industry and supervise implementation
Monitor and report implementation of approved environmental and social commitment plans
Characterise sites before construction and supervise environmental plan implementation
Create Environmental, Health and Management Systems (EHMS) for each company
Create company-specific Social Management Systems per IFC guidelines
Create Environmental Log Files and Environmental Regulations Alerts (ERA) for each company
Support qualification for ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, ISO 26000, BSCI, and OEKO-TEX 100
