Waste Management
ADES Waste Management Project
Management, transportation, and safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste generated from ADES facilities.

Background
ADES operates drilling assets in the Red Sea and South Sinai, generating hazardous and non-hazardous waste at locations where disposal infrastructure is distant and environmentally sensitive coastal and marine receptors are close. EnviGlobe has supported the operation since 2019, which makes this an operational service rather than a study.
Objective
Support ADES sustainability planning through safe waste management and regular HSE reporting.
Outcome
Since 2019 the arrangement has given ADES continuous, documented waste management across remote operating locations, with the reporting needed for sustainability disclosure. In sensitive coastal environments, the value is in the traceability: being able to show where every stream went, not simply that it was removed.
Standards and frameworks applied
- Egyptian Waste Management Law 202/2020
- Basel Convention
- Egyptian Environmental Law 4/1994
- Oil and gas industry HSE practice
